Angel Learning Center – Savannah Highlands

Center Director

I’m Ayanna Cunningham, a dedicated childcare professional with over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. As the Center Director at Angel Learning Center Savannah, my mission is to provide a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

As a mother of three and an Army veteran, I bring a unique combination of discipline, organization, and communication skills to my role. My military background has instilled in me the importance of structure and routine, which I believe are essential for fostering a child’s development. Every day, I work to ensure that our center offers the highest quality care, maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging space for children to reach their full potential.

In addition to my practical experience, I have earned several certifications to enhance my expertise in early childhood education. I hold a Childhood Exceptionalities Technical Certificate of Credit, which enables me to support children with special needs, and a Program Administration Technical Certificate of Credit, which has strengthened my leadership and center management skills. I also hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field to continue expanding my knowledge and skills.

I am committed to continuous learning and staying current with the latest research and best practices in childcare. My passion for early childhood education stems from my belief that the early years are critical for laying the foundation for lifelong learning and development. I am honored to guide and support the children in my care on this important journey.

At Angel Learning Center Savannah, I strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their potential.
