As part of the Angel Learning Center family, which has served Georgia families since 2015, our Dawsonville location is committed to upholding the highest standards in early education. We provide live camera access for parents, maintain low student-to-teacher ratios, and offer programs that meet the unique needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.

Our Facility Director
Jonathan Henson
Hi there! My name is Jonathan Henson, and I’ve been passionately serving in early childhood and youth development since 2007. From the very beginning, I knew my heart belonged to helping young people grow, thrive, and discover who God created them to be.
I’ve had the privilege of working in the school system as a Behavior Support Specialist in a specialized instruction classroom, where I learned the power of patience, compassion, and meeting every child exactly where they are. Those years shaped the way I lead and inspire young people today.
I’m blessed with an incredible family—my wife Melanie, the love of my life since 2016, and our two amazing children: Lynnleigh (7) and Briggs (5). They keep me laughing, grounded, and constantly reminded of why this work matters.
Outside of work, you can usually find me serving as a Youth Pastor at Set Free Church in Dawsonville, pouring into the next generation and building young disciples. I absolutely love playing the piano and singing worship music—there’s just something powerful about ushering people into God’s presence through sound and song.
And now, as a Center Director, I get the honor of creating a safe, energetic, and joyful space where kids can learn, explore, and shine. I believe a center should feel like a second home—full of fun, encouragement, and moments that spark confidence and creativity. Whether it’s cheering on a student’s breakthrough, supporting a family, or leading an amazing staff team, I strive to make every day memorable and meaningful.
I’m excited for what’s ahead—and even more excited to continue impacting lives, one child at a time.
